Ingredients
- 1 Tablespoon yeast
- 2 cups lukewarm water
- 3 cups white Kamut
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 2 teaspoons French coarse salt
- Butter, Melted
Directions
Dissolve yeast in warm water. Let sit for a few minutes. Mix flour sugar and salt in large bowl with dough hook. Stir in yeast. Make a soft sticky dough. Cover with dish towel and let rise until double 2 to 4 hours.
Beat the dough down with your fist. Divide into 4 skinny baguettes. place in greased pans. cover and let rise until double.
Make 3 small slits and brush tops with butter. place the bread in the oven on bottom rack.
Turn on the oven to 400 and set the timer for 30 minutes for the skinny baguettes.
